The disadvantage when transporting your Atari 2600 is that there is always the antenna cable lying around in your legs. To overcome this, the previous owner of this console had a funny idea.
The antenna socket on the front
You had to think about it!
The realization is rough and the location where the connectors for the aerial socket are finally found is terribly lacking in elegance, but you had to think about it. The only tools needed are a screwdriver and a drill, no soldering was required for this mod! With very little skill, anyone can make an Atari 2600 without a video cable.

Double-female antenna plug
The only accessory required

After making a hole on the top of the console, the hacker added an antenna adapter before closing the box... and presto, voila. From there, we could push the hack by moving a female antenna plug to the back of the console for a less rootsy result...
